Booking Fee $249 + Treats


INCLUDES:

24 hour rental period.

Drop-off and pick-up.

TREATS:

Treat prices range from $2.50 - $9.75 per treat, including GST.

Full cases of treats are provided.

Unopened cases of treats may be returned upon inspection.


CANCELLATION:

If you need to cancel, no problem! The booking fee is non-refundable, but weโ€™re happy to reschedule if you give at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will forfeit the fee.

  • What does the cart come with?
    The ice cream cart will come with an umbrella, a stool, a custom A-frame menu showcasing all the treats youโ€™ve chosen, and last but not least... ice cream!
  • Does The Ice Cream Truck provide staff for the cart?
    No, we leave the fun of running the cart to you! Youโ€™ll need to provide your own staff.
  • How many types of treats can I choose?
    You can select up to 12 different types of treats for your event. The cart can hold approximately 400 treats in total, so thereโ€™s plenty to go around!
  • Can I return unused ice cream?
    Absolutely! If you have unopened cases of treats, that have been kept frozen, weโ€™ll gladly take them back.
  • How long will the cart keep everything frozen?
    Plug it in, and itโ€™ll stay cold as long as you need! If itโ€™s not plugged in, itโ€™ll keep everything frozen for 8โ€“10 hours, depending on how much itโ€™s used and the weather.
  • Can I pick up the cart myself?
    Weโ€™ve got that covered! All event carts must be delivered by our team due to their weight and handling requirements.
  • What if I need the cart for longer then 24 hours?
    No problem! You can keep the cart for as long as you need. Additional days are just $99 per day.
  • How do I pay?
    1. Pay the rental fee when you book your cart. 2. On delivery day, a $500.00 deposit will be charged to the card on file. 3. Upon pickup, weโ€™ll: Check how many cases were opened. Ensure any unopened cases stayed frozen. Inspect the cart and accessories for any damage. All opened cases will be added to your final bill. 4.Your final bill will be calculated and deducted from the $500 deposit. 5. If the charges exceed the deposit amount, weโ€™ll charge the card on file for the difference. If the charges are less than the deposit, a refund will be issued for the remainder. 6. A receipt showing all charges will be sent to the email on file.
  • What are the cart dimensions?
    The cart is 46"L x 31.5"W x 36"H
  • Can I see the menu?

  • Some of my guests have diet restrictions, do you have a treat for them?

  • Can I select just a few treats from the menu to be served at my event? 
    While we can not limit the menu board down to a handful of treats, we do offer an option to limit the treats to $6.00 and under. This leaves you with up to 20 treats to choose from ranging from $2.50-$6.00.
  • Can the truck stay longer than 1 hour?
    Yes! When booking feel free to add additional time. $49/per half hour or $89/per whole hour.
  • I want the truck to go to multiple locations in one day, can you do this?
    Yes! Please place the locations and times in the notes when booking. A fuel surcharge will be applied.
  • Will you travel out of town?
    Yes! If your event is located outside of the main city limits we operate in a travel fee may be charged. We will let you know prior to accepting your booking.
  • I am hosting a small event in a public place. If others decide to purchase treats will this count towards the total treat credit?
    Unfortunately, no :( If you prefer that we do not serve the general public, we suggest that you supply your guests with tickets to give to the driver. This will help the driver decipher between the event guests and the general public. Our driver will kindly let the general public know that this is a private event.
  • I am hosting a large event, can I have the booking fee discount now instead of after the event?
    This is not an option, but, we will ensure the credit is applied to the final bill depending on how many treats are sold. The more treats we sell at your event the larger the credit will be!
  • How do you keep track of the treats my guests are purchasing?
    We use a point of sale system so that we can accurately track all treats purchased.
  • Can I give my guests a voucher worth a certain value? (ie. $5/per voucher)
    Yes! In the event booking notes please state that you would like this done and what the value of each voucher will be. Please note, you will be charged for the full value of each voucher at the end of the event. ie. If your voucher is worth $5 and your guest purchases a $4 treat, no change or credit will be given. ie. If your guest chooses to purchase something over the value of the voucher, 2 vouchers or 1 voucher + another form of payment will be required to make up the difference.
  • Can you just come by without us booking?
    Unfortunately, no :( This would not be fair to our customers who pay the booking fee. The booking protects you and ensures a truck will be at your event.
  • Kids Birthday Party Age Restrictions
    When booking a Kids Birthday Party, the birthday child must be turning 12 or under. There are no age restrictions on the other guests! To book a birthday party for anyone over the age of 12 click here.
  • Why do I have to place a credit card on file?
    We require a credit card on file to secure the booking. The same card will be charged the final amount after the event. This avoids confusion between our office, drivers and your staff. Please ensure the card used to make the booking is the same card that will be charged after the event. At the end of the event, the driver will process the payment prior to leaving. A detailed receipt will be sent to the email on file.
  • Can you provide an estimate or quote for my event?
    Our treat prices range from $2.50-$10.00*. With hundreds of events under our belt, we find that you can estimate to spend approximately $5.50 per person/treat. This does not include the Booking Fee, Gratuity or the credit that will be applied to the final bill if you purchase more than 50 treats. Please see below. To create your estimate you can use the following formula. Booking Fee +# of Guest's x $5.50 +Gratuity (18% of treats sold) - credit if 50 or more treats are purchased
  • I have a budget to stick to, can I cap the cost of treats?
    Yes! There is an option when booking to limit the treats to $6.00 and under. This leaves you with up to 20 treats to choose from ranging from $2.50-$6.00.
  • Am I allowed to adjust/change the gratuity?
    Yes! There is a minimum of 18% in place to protect our drivers, but, if you feel the driver went over and above and gave you an amazing experience you are more then welcome to increase the gratuity over and above 18%. The drivers always receive 100% of all gratuities.
  • Why is there an automatic gratuity?
    We ensure an amazing experience and the best service in the industry, our drivers work very hard to achieve this. The drivers always receive 100% of all gratuities.
  • Can you send me an invoice after the event?
    We require a credit card on file to secure the booking. The same card will be charged the final amount after the event. This avoids confusion between our office, drivers and your staff. Please ensure the card used to make the booking is the same card that will be charged after the event. At the end of the event, the driver will process the payment prior to leaving. A detailed receipt will be sent to the email on file.
  • Will I receive a receipt after the event?
    A detailed receipt will be sent to the email on file once the payment has been processed.
  • What forms of payments do you accept?
    Events are automatically charged to the credit card placed on file at the time of booking. If your guests are paying for their own treats, we accept cash, debit, credit, Google & Apple Pay.
